An absolute paradise for hikers, mountaineers and Nordic walking enthusiasts – not just because of the fun barbecues which take place at the Family Kohlmayr’s own mountain hut, but also because of the endless range of spectacular hiking routes and mountain climbs in the surrounding area.
Family-friendly walking paths and hiking routes ensure that a hiking holiday with the family is an unforgettable experience.
Those who wish to explore the surrounding mountains on two wheels will find a comprehensive network of mountain-bike trails. Bikes can be hired at the hotel at a minimal charge. |

| The Kohlmayr Family not only owns the hotel but also the Tauernkaralm mountain hut in Obertauern and Lake Tauernkaralmsee (9 km from the hotel).
Once a week we organise a hike to the alm hut where guests are rewarded with a jovial barbecue or spit-roast suckling pig.
The Tauernkar alm hut is run as a restaurant from Whitsun to the beginning of October. |

Let us treat you to a fantastic holiday in our hotel, guesthouse annex or holiday apartments!
For guests staying in the hotel and guesthouse half-board, the children’s activity programme and the holiday activity programme for parents are included.
For guests staying in the holiday apartments the children’s activity programme and the use of the wellness facilities and the hotel’s own bathing lake are included as well as a visit to the animal and amusement park and fishing at the "Fürstenbrunn" fishing pond centre. On request, buffet breakfast, evening meals or even half-board can also be booked.
